unusual pink lines while left clicking and deagging

hi there folks !

i am running windows 7 64 bit . as long as i remember I didn't do anything foolish in the hardware or something but i have this trouble. when i click the left mouse button and hold it while clicking and then drag here and there i get pink lines that are killing me and making me unable to use one software. any help would be greatly appreciated. link of the photo is below

The thing I first noticed is that in the picture, the line looks like it's been added there using paint. Does it appear when you click and disappear when you leave your finger from the button? If it's just always there I think someone might be playing a prank on you.

Either way, see if updating the graphics drivers and the mouse drivers fixes the issue.

How does it behave if you boot to Safe Mode with Networking? If better then something is starting at boot that is causing the problem.

Use msconfig to determine what is causing the problem

These are good tutorials on using msconfig in XP, Vista or Windows 7:
How to use msconfig in Windows XP
How to use msconfig in Windows Vista
How to use msconfig in Windows 7

Click on Start then Run, type msconfig and press Enter.
Click on the Startup tab, record what is currently starting then click the Disable All button.
Reboot and see if it runs better.
If yes then use msconfig to enable several items at a time till you find the culprit.

If no, start msconfig and click on the Services tab.
Check the Hide All Microsoft Services box, record what is currently starting then click the Disable All button.
Again, do a regular boot, see if it runs normal.
If yes then use msconfig to enable services till you find the culprit.

Once you've found the culprit, uninstall it or find out how to eliminate it from your system. Simply disabling it in msconfig is a temporary fix at best.
Enable everything else you disabled.

all my drivers are upto date and the line only comes when i drag it while clicking the left mouse button and goes away as soon as i stop clicking it.

5) there u will see a option which says " disable all ". click on it.
6) restart the computer and the problem is finished.
7) but u dont want all the programms to be disabled so if u want go there again and place tick on one or two boxes at a time and restart. see if the problem is ok then continue to place tick on another two or three. when u come to a place when u put a tick and problem appears then that programm is the problem . u disable that and
enable all other programms.



btw i learned a new way of taking photo of ur desktop . press " prt sc sys rq " button on top of ur keyboard. cheers

What item did you disable that solved the problem?

it was a software which kinda came with the A4tech mouse driver any how i am glad i got rid of that thing,
