The issue happens when I remote desktop to to main desktop which contains an MSI R4550-MD1GH graphics cards. When I go back to my main desktop, the login screen appears. When I login, occasionally, the monitor displays a connection failure and the screen will not come up. It appears that the card is not putting anything out.
The only way to get the graphics card to talk to the monitor again is to remote desktop to it again from another machine. As soon as I do, the login screen will once again appear on the main desktop. When I login for the second time, it always works and I can see my desktop.
Machine is a Gateway DX4820-01 Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHz 6GB 750GB.
OS is Windows 7.
Any ideas?
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks.
