Issues with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit. Installation

Hello All,

I have an old computer with following configuration:

1. CPU - AMD Athlon 2.8 GHz
2. RAM - DDR400 - 1 GB
3. HDD - Seagate ATA - 250 GB
4. Motherboard ASUS - Supports USB & DVD start up.
5. LG - DVD/CD ROM Drive. / MAD DOG DVD ROM Drive. - Working

Recently I tried to install a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate edition in my system here is what's happening.

1. First it loads Windows is loading Files... Screen for few minutes.
2. Next after getting Windows 7 Blue Graphics screen which we usually see before set up window opens I had to wait for 10 to 20 minutes just get the Installation Overview Window.
3. After I select Edition & Language etc and Type of Windows 7 Installation I need after I click 'Next', I had to wait for 10 to 20 minutes more just to get the Disk Partitioning Window to select installation location.
4. Then after formatting partition chose it to installing windows it takes almost 30 to 40 minutes of time just to get installed.
5. Later after installation finishes and computer restarts I get nothing. it's just a blank screen even after restarting and going to Safe Mode also I am not able to see any Desktop.

Please help me how can I get my Windows 7 Work in my PC.

Note: I have installed Windows 7 Professional few years back on the same computer without any issues.

So why not just install Pro again ?

Where did you get the 32 bit Ultimate install dvd from ?

Hello AddRAM,

I installed Pro. long back I don't have it's DVD any more and I got Windows 7 Ultimate DVD image file from a friend who usually uses it frequently and burnt it to a DVD. and point to note it the image & the cd works as expected in other system I tried in my laptop it did not took much time as I have experiencing on metntioned PC now.
