Solved Its possible install two Windows 7 x64 in the same HDD?

Hello! like the title says

I want install two Windows 7... but i don't know how. Google has so many information that confused. someone have a simple tutorial? for beginners...

First, you create another partition to install windows on, I would use Partition Wizard.

Then you install Windows on that partition.

DO NOT delete your current install partition.

Before you do anything, research, research, research.

What i want is have an extra partition maybe with 100 GB with Windows 7 for install, test and modify games and programs, that's gonna protect me and don't ****ed my current original system with cracks,virus, traces or fail installations. and not to mention the loss of important and personal data from my current OS.

Here is the picture:

The 3rd small partition is your System Reserved partition, Don`t touch it.

You can make a 4th 100 GB partition to the right of C if you want, it can be a Primary or Logical partition. Use Partition Wizard to create it.

There are videos there that will show you how to resize C and create a 4th partition.

You know if its possible create a ISO (or similar) file of my current original OEM Windows 7? I mean create a kind of backup... I search in google but the only what show me is a backup of all my files with the final size 30 GB or more i don't want that. i want is a copy of the Operative System (2-4 GB) for put in a USB/DVD, for in the future can restore a clean windows.

Jorge, the fist partition ("Recovery Partition") has the image to recover the computer to the factory defaults. Normally you can build a USB flash disk or DVD to do a recover on a new HDD.
If you still have a COA stick with a Win 7 HB key (look under the laptop or even under the battery), you can download a ISO from M$ and use the key from the COA. Download the down loader, run it, choose Win 7 OEM HB, burn a DVD or transfer to a USB flash disk - Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool

Changing disk properties and config is a risky task. You MUST make a BACKUP of your files before changing partitions.

My advice: Buy a SSD, do a clean install of Win 7. Put your HDD on a external case to use it as a backup or replace the CD-DVD by a HDD case.

Megahertz07 Thanks for the suggest but if you see my flag xD buy a single dollar in my country cost 6.079,87 BsF million in the local coin. so buy a SSD or a new HDD #lol i will need to work 327 times so it is not a viable way... i prefer do the job without spend money, that's is why i want clone my current OS... anyway your help is great because now i know i can use the serial key in the sticker under the laptop to install a new W7 and activate it.

If you have an external HD not doing anything special, let me add to Addram's "...Before you do anything, research, research, research." Before you do anything: backup, backup, backup!
