Has anyone of readers a Japanese keyboard and trouble with the assignment of
the keys when working in English.

I have a querty keyboard, all letters/CAPITALS work fine.
However the majority of the symbols !@#$%^&*()_+{}:"<>?, are assigned to
the wrong keys

Example @ is SHIFT 2, but it indicates on that key "

Thanks

that's because you have chosen "English US" in the keyboard language settings, and the US keyboards are actually arranged that way.

You should choose another kind of English for your keyboard, like the "English UK", as they have a keyboard more similar to yours (which if it is japanese should be like this, I hope)
