I assume that you need to correct the resolution of the game to match that of your monitor, I don't know if and why it has anything to do with the GTX 465.
If you cannot change the res via main menu, poke around the install folder and see if some .ini files contain the information about the resolution and change it manually via Notepad.

This is a quote from:

Wont Run BF2 Just cause i switched my monitor?! [Archive] - CamaroZ28.Com Message Board

"Ok what we need to do is get your refresh rate set back to 60. Go to your My Documents\Battlefield 2\ folder and make a quick backup by copying everything in there to another location just for safe measure. Now that it is backed up, go into the "Profiles" folder. there is a default folder with several .con files in it. Open up the file "Video.con" with windows notepad and change the line:

VideoSettings.setResolution 1024x768@85Hz
to the following:
VideoSettings.setResolution 1024x768@60Hz

with the 1024x768 number being whatever resolution you want to run the game at. Also, you will notice in the profiles folder there is at least one folder called "0001", and possible 0002, 0003 etc depending on how many people have logged into that machine and played. Go into each of those numbered folders and change the video.con to 60hz exactly like you did before. Run the game."

looks like you having a problem with that cause either your video-card ir minitor has a limited resolution display this is usually happens when setting up the game resolution at very high

to solve this

try deleting your save game setting located at MyDocuments/Square Enix/Just Cause 2/Saves/JC2Settings
create a backup first now go play the game and don't try not to set your resolution too much higher
