Hi,
I am new to to Seven Forums and have a strange problem.
When I open a JPG attachment in Live Mail, it Immediately creates a folder in Recycle Bin named WLMDSS.tmp. Properties reveal the path C:\Users\Client\App Data\Local\Windows Live Mail\WLMDSS.tmp.Emptying the Recylce Bin does not remove the file from the System, it still remains at the above location. Disc Cleanup will not remove it. I have scanned with Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Malwarebytes, Spybot, and Live One Care. All returned No infection. Can anyone Help?

WLM 2011 has at least one bug (not the one you mentioned) that can be fixed by doing a repair install. It's easy to do so why not try it? Go to Programs and Features/Windows Live Essentials and choose a repair. It will repair all components of Essentials that are installed already, including Mail.

Thanks Roncerr,
I have already tried the repair you suggest. I have also tried Uninstall/Reinstall Live Mail only and Uninstall/Reinstall all Live Essentials. I have found instructions for a complete Uninstall of Live mail that requires editing the Registry. This is beyond by expertise currently so I will seek the help of a Tech.
Thanks again for your help.
