I have a juli@ soundcard, which has worked on my windows 7 machine for ages without hiccup.
At some point, I think after updating my windows, the sound of youtube always gets crackly within a few minutes. This is not the case when I watch a movie with say VLC. Changing browser from chrome to firefox did not help.
There are two things I do to make it stop: click in the movie to make it play from another timestamp, and that will sometimes make the sound ok again (for 30 more seconds or so).
I also can close all sound-using programs, change frequency setting on the juli@ card, open youtube again, and it will play for 30 seconds or so without crackling: but then the crackling starts AGAIN.
This is driving me totally crazy. What the hell can I do to fix this: I have tried installing the latest driver, fiddling with the bios, disabling all motherboard sound, but no luck yet.
