Just updated my iPhone to new ios - now getting error message

I think this problem I'm having has as much (or more) to do with Windows as it does with the iPhone. That's why I'm posting it here, but I've also posted it to the Apple Support Community, hoping somebody somewhere knows how to fix this.

Just a little background. I've had "ownership issues" with certain files on my computer and I'm pretty sure this is causing the problem. I've posted about this ownership issue before on here, but was never able to resolve the general issue. In this instance, I would be content with a solution to just this specific problem. And, by the way, I've tried creating new user accounts to try to solve this and that just doesn't work for me.

Just updated my iPhone 5S to the new ios through itunes on my computer. Now I'm getting this 0xE800000A error message. This actually happened right after I updated while the phone was still connected to the computer. It says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone. An unknown error has occurred 0xE800000A." On the phone, it keeps popping up that annoying "trust this computer?" box.

This has happened to me before, but the solutions I've used for this problem before don't work now. I have Windows 7 Ultimate N. The usual solution found on the internet says to delete the Lockdown folder in C://ProgramData/Apple, but this does not work for me. In fact, that "solution" makes it worse as, when I do that, the error message pops up immediately without even giving me the chance to try the "validation" step.

Here's one I pulled off of Google. It's exactly the same as the one on my phone.

Run a full scan with http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php to make sure you are not infected.

I had already done that plus I ran an Avast scan, Super anti-spyware, and Adwcleaner. Nothing was found.

This "trust" box has popped up before and it's usually just a matter of hitting "trust" and, viola, everything is fine.

Maybe the system update made it forget the devices that it trusts.

Anyway, I solved the problem myself. I uninstalled iTunes plus I deleted every file related to Apple I could find on my computer, then re-installed iTunes and, viola, it worked. I had already tried just uninstalling and re-installing iTunes previously and that did not work. The trick, it seems, was to delete all of the other Apple-related files. Couldn't tell you exactly which one (s) of those files was the problem, but at least I solved it.

Thanks for sticking with me even though I was starting to get frustrated.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that, when I uninstalled iTunes, I also uninstalled Bonjour, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, and Apple Software Update. So you could be right.

And, by the way, since you asked, my iPhone has always synced perfectly well with my laptop, which has Windows XP. So it seems that there's something going on with Windows 7. Some of the files within Windows 7 seem to "lock" themselves (not sure of the correct term, but it's the security features within Windows 7, I think).

Just my 2 cents,
icloud is a odd utility,
But yes iTunes is getting weirder by every update they release,
Your probably aware your only allowed 3 devices to connect to iTunes with and that might be the issue ?
Or somewhere your iTunes password is incorrect and that's why the allow is being rejected without further details than the reappearing dialog box,

Remove and redo the password on the iphone,
It's easy to enter the wrong password on iphones/ done it
Freaking auto capitals as the first letter,

Yeah iOS does too much auto correcting. Can't you disable it though?

Trashzone, I believe it's five computers as I've had the "warning" about that pop up before. I've only ever synced this phone on two computers, so that's not an issue. As far as password, that didn't seem to be the issue either as I solved the problem without ever doing anything with the password.
