Kaspersky causing slow mp3 tagging?

I have my mp3's stored on a WHS. With Kaspersky enabled it will take about 30 seconds to update a tag. With it off, it takes less than a second. I am sure it is slowing down other network traffic as well. Any ideas on how to speed this up?

Update Kaspersky? Deactivate it?

Sounds like a bug in Kaspersky's filter driver. There may be very little you can do to bypass it in a practical manner.

It is up to date. For now I just went back to Windows Defender and Firewall. I can live without an AV. Just was wondering if anyone else had these issues.
