Kaspersky or Bitdefender?

Well I agree as Is adi Comodo was naggy and that Geek Buddy was a pain.

I have heard good things about Emsisoft too my doc uses it ans swears by it though I have tested it yet on my test desktop or looked in the AV Comps.

Anyway am testing out Linux Mint MATE right now (fed up with the shenanigans of Windows) and after a few hitches with installing on a SSD I am about to try their AV stuff which I think from what I have seen is just a firewall.

Geek Buddy is hell buddy. And on top of that, Linux? Off topic. However, I would suggest ClamAV and RKHunter for Linux if you're daring enough to move to Linux. Try tripwire because ufw is pretty lousy - or FirewallD. I know my Linux. ^_^

Ok mate I am trying Linux again (did a long time ago) because mainly because I wanted something as an alternative to Windows which is pretty annoying right now. But as you say OT here;)

I might PM you as I have been having some odd problems with Linux if you don't mind.
