Solved (KB245826) Update Causing Major Troubles

Think I'm gonna bite the bullet on this one. May as well go ahead and start backing up my data for a clean install.

Forensics are fun and can be very educational, however, there comes a time when you need to realize when to say when ... Now for my two cents ... had you maintained a regular imaging of your system drive as a part of your backup policy, you could have avoided this situation with a simple restore of your latest image... It is a lot easier to restore an image, than doing a reinstall of your entire OS, which you are about to learn... Good Luck!
