Keep getting BSOD's to do with Wininit.exe

Hello

I keep getting a BSOD to do with Wininit.exe. Every time it's happened, is when i'm browsing on the internet.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit retail version.
Intel i5 750 with 8gb of memory
It's a new windows install because recently got an SSD and Windows is installed on that.

Your avast is first and foremost I would remove and replace with Microsoft security essentials

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Remove avast. run chkdsk use your installation disc to repair your OS and go to microsoft website search for wininit.exe and use the fixit tool to repair it

Good news on SFC and Avast, McAffee, Kaspersky, Symantec, all are known causes of frequent BSOD's in win 7 (and so far win 8)

I'm afraid uninstalling avast hasn't worked, still getting BSOD's. Sort of getting them every other day and they all point to wininit.exe

We could use the DMP files

"They point to wininit.exe" in what app? Bluescreen view and who crashed, often blame the OS incorrectly.


Just in case download Malwarebytes and run it.

I've got the windbg program and when i open the dump files, they say something about wininit.exe. I don't understand the rest of it though.
