Keyboard and Mouse not working after computer back from Sleep Mode

Well when I come up from sleep mode. My mouse will first light up. But then when my motherboard shuts off and turn off again by itself, the mouse and keyboards will not light up, but the computer is still running. The monitor will not display anything on screen. I have to do a hard boot before everything will work fine. I noticed when I hard but, Windows will say resuming windows on screen. This problem sometimes come up or doesn't. I don't know if it's a software or hardware issue. Please help. If you need more info, Please ask what you need to help me figure out what is the problem.
