keyboard not working correctly

Hello there ,

Been living with this problem for a while now, trying to solve it without succes. Been into regions and languages and searched the Web.

Also this is a Dutch setup laptop so "keyboard " is called "toetsenbord" !!

There is a $ sign on the keyboard but no English Pound sign.

Any help much appreciated,

Yes, have been there a couple of times. changed it from US to United Kingdom, no success.

silly question has it just rubbed of the key, mine 3+£ 4+$.

Hi Roi, not a silly question at all my A has rubbed off completely !

Above my 3 stands a #, but above my 4 stands the $. Weird Must be Dutch logic.

I will have a look at that program in "how to geek" Roy because this gives real problems. I can find the / ( fore ward slash ) but not the back ward slash ) that one gives a # And when I want to type a command prompt it often includes the backward slash.

Just found the £ it's where the # should be, but is funny enough nowhere marked on my keyboard.

Wonder if other members have experienced this ?
Perhaps this laptop is dyslectic like me

My keyboard also does not have pound but i'm not using that symbol anyway. Above 3 i have # and above 4 i have $.

So you have the same keyboard as me, but obviously did not buy your PC in The Nederlands.

I also have an old DELL notebook with the keyboard in french, that thing is confusing.

There you tell me something, I lived in France for 30 years and NEVER got used to it .
And you cannot change it when it's OLD !
