Kyocera mita FS 1800+ [installation issues][New PC]

Hello Everyone,

I own a Kyocera mita FS 1800+. With a new computer I'm having issues connecting to it via a 25pin parallel to USB port. Now i think i've set the printer to parallel mode. But when i plug in the cable it gives me a "IEE- 1284" icon under printers and devices window.

I'm not sure what to do right now. I've tried to get windows to find a driver but it ain't very helpful.

IEEE-1284 is the international standard designation of the 25 pin parallel port, just like IEEE-1394 is fire wire and IEEE-802.11 a/b/g/n are the designations for wi-fi
