Hello rajdeepak and welcome if you feel it might be a memory issue and want to do a thorough memory test mate use memtest you need to make a bootable disk for it set the BIOS to boot from optical and let it run.

This app does take a fair while to run and you should do at least seven passes. Sometimes you may find errors fairly quickly. This doesn't involve the OS by the way.

Did you run through Gregs reference yet and have you done anything in the registry ie use a registry cleaner?

The other thing is it mentions firmware have you done any system drivers, BIOS updates?

TuneUp utilities can ruin Win7. If you installed and ran it recently I would SYstem Restore before that point to see if that helps. Then uninstall it and use only CCleaner.

Read over the tools and methods which assure you will get and keep a perfect install in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Did your reinstall vary much from those steps, and are you using anything else other than the recommended tools which assure keeping a perfect install?

Personally rajdeepak I don't like any tune up utilities mate they are not necessary really because there are some good tutorials in here that can do the job as efficiently as any add on.
But that is your own choice.

If this is a free program why not dump it pro tem and pick it later if you still want it. A good example is my brother in the UK he has all sorts of tune up apps that ran riot through the machine and it took a lot of getting back to normal. With the CC and the registry stuff always make a back up to go back to.

Let us know how you go.

Sorry Greg I must have been typing at the same time but more or less what you have said:rolleyes:

That's quite alright John. Two heads are often better than one to get these points across.

I have been using tuneup for over 2 years but never had this problem before, i use it mainly because i chnage my logon screen and nothing special but i will take all of your tip and unisntall it and see if it gets any better, thanks.

Since you've narrowed it down, you can enter Device Manager and check the Power Settings on the network card to disable wake options, etc. These might be on their own tab for the Device, or under Driver details or properties.

Why would you throw it out the window when you've not even Clean Reinstalled yet? Most tech enthusiasts would never run the bloated factory preinstall to begin with!

Why would you expect any better performance from an inherently corrupt install? We specialize here in perfect installs, by comparison. Don't give up until you try one to see the difference.

Stop pulling out your hair and follow the steps closely to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Do what Greg says mate it is the only way and this could drive you mad(der) :)

Ok i formatted it yet again but using win 7 image downloaded from digital river i am getting the errors "driver power state failure",also got a 586 mb dump file with no clue to which driver crashed ,Also can it be a hardware malfunction but apart form sleep/hibernating problem no other problem has surfaced,it passes all the dells hardware diagnostics both boot time and in win environment, stress test also good,no check disk error.
