Laptop Not Able to Access Homegroup...
... but the other computer on my homegroup can access it!

I have three computers in my homegroup- a workstation, an older computer running as storage, and a new laptop. All of them are running the same OS (Windows 7 Pro 64-bit) and they're all plugged into the same router (physically- not wireless!) For months, my workstation and storage computers have been able read/write data on each others drives as needed- no problem.

I just picked up a new laptop and want it to have the same capabilities. I added my laptop to the homegroup. Immediately, my workstation and storage rig showed the laptop in the windows browser under homegroup. They can read and write anything I've made available on the laptop.

However, that doesn't work going the other way.
My laptop can see the computers in Windows explorer but it cannot access them!
I have a common folder on all of my machines I'm trying to share to- on each computer I have read/write permissions granted to everyone on the homegroup.

I just copied about 30gigs of data from my workstation to my laptop and it worked!
However, trying to put something from my laptop to that workstation (in the same folder the copied content came from) results in a permissions error!

Any ideas?
Thanks!

MAke sure permissions on all 3 machines are set the same. I do not use HomeGroups. What I do is set Permissions for C:\ and all folders using "Everyone" as the main user and control. This rather than Administrator, etc. Works flawlessly for me even wireless.
Just my 2 cents.
