I usually put my computer in sleep mode if I'll only be a few hours away and I rarely turn it off. Maybe once a week. However, lately it hasn't wanted to go on Sleep mode. Well, the screen goes dark, but I can still hear the fans running. I know Sleep mode leaves things running, but this is too much. Last time, my computer was burning up. I suspect it's hardware issues, but I wanted to take a crack at it here.
There are also other moments in which it is on Sleep mode and I try to wake it up again. I can hear the fans but the screen is lighting up. Sometimes I have to close the lid and open it again for the screen to light up. Would appreciate any help, please and thank you.
EDIT: The first issue doesn't happen often, but it's been happening a few times lately and I have to force quit (pressing the Power button) in order to power it off. Then I turn it on again and everything's loading up again. I just installed some Windows Updates just in case.
