I have a Lenovo V570. The type of laptop isn't important, I just need a little info. I want to take off the panel to expose the hard drive and maybe install a SSD. I am having a hard time getting the screws out. They seem to loosen, but when I turn it over, they do not fall out. I was thinking maybe I could get a magnetic screwdriver and loosen and then pickup. I am not sure if a magnet should be around a laptop. Is there any danger in a magnetic force and a laptop meeting?

Magnet -> no. But if they are all loose, just pop the panel. Be careful. You might easily damage wires. I would look for a 'How to' video on the internet. Each model is different.
