Did you create a new Gmail Mail app acct, check Over its settings?

Yes, Greg I did all of that. I still can't get it to stop saying it needs attention.

I fixed it. This is what I did. 1.) Disconnect from internet. 2.) Open the Mail app. 3.) Go to accounts. 4.) Find the email that says it needs attention. 5.) Select/Tap it and then remove.

My Windows 8.1 desktop is stuck in repair loop. HELP!!!

What do you mean Repair Loop? Describe.

Do you get choice at boot to Start WIndows Normally? What happens?

Can you access System Recovery Options from the disk to System Restore or run Windows 8 Automatic Repair ?

You should probably take this to Windows 8 Forums as they specialize in 8.

Do you have an extra Windows 7 license so you can get upgrade to it from 8?

Even a Clean Install Windows 10 Technical Preview is preferential to 8, remarkably stable, yet still pre-beta though I have been using it since October and find it better than 7 or 8 overall.

I got it fixed. I had to hit the Alt F8 keys to get it to boot up. I then just reset the computer.

I know. But, now when I shut it down from the desktop it beeps. If I log off and shut down from the login screen it doesn't beep. Can you help me with this, Maxie?

The Windows 8.1 computer. Windows 8 is a total nightmare. I'm running sfc now.
