Laptop Shuts off at unexpected times

Sadly my Advent 9215 has a habit of shutting off sometimes and it is annoying.
I am aware of my laptop being fairly warm but no where near too hot!
Weirdly it refuses to turn on afterwards sometimes without the power lead plugged in. Weird or what... and it wasn't low on battery! :huh: Is a cooler pad worth a try. I cleaned the fan in January, shall I clean it again?

Yes a cool pad does help
Monitor your temps with a program like Real Temp.
Their is no way for us to know how clean the inside of your laptop is. If in dought clean it out.

The report looks fine. Try using a coolpad and exit unwanted running programs like Skype (as shown in the report).

What you don't want to hear.
When you use a laptop like a desktop you create heat like a desktop. Their are lots of ways to cool a desktop and not so many ways to cool a laptop. Turn off things running in the background that you don't need running helps. Unplug all the little goodies you might have plugged into it that you are not using can help.
If you Google water cooling laptop you will get over 3 millions sites you can look through. Some are units you buy and some are DIY.
