Short version, purchased an Asus A55a-ts51, came with windows 8, put windows 7 on it. After a few weeks it began to shut off at random. Sent in for service, It came back with a clean install of windows 8.

Decided to keep the windows 8 to test and see if it was really fixed. It was not.

Sent laptop in again and it came back with a new motherboard and hard drive. Installed windows 7 again because I thought it was really fixed. Nope.

Here is a link to what happens. Listen to the noise at the end when it dies.
Please excuse video quality, commentary, etc. Also the laptop is on a book.

I need Advice on what to do, what do you think the problem is.

wheelsonbus, welcome to SF. I take it that the lappy is still under warranty as it's been sent in twice and returned with having major work done only to still have the same issues?

Really sounds like they will just replace it with a new/different serial numbered unit. I mean you replace the mobo and the hdd all I can think of is the ac power supply ? I would cut my losses and just ask for a new lappy then put W7 on it ! Maybe someone else can think of things to try but changing the mobo out and it stills happening points to area's of the lappy not new.....screen, case, keyboard, ac adapter !
