So, we have multiple computers that the wireless capability stops working randomly and can be fixed by going in to the BIOS and resetting it to the defaults.
Any idea why?

You didn't mention how old these machines are or what type of machines you have but with bios problems it may be that the cmos battery needs to be replaced.

You didn't mention how old these machines are or what type of machines you have but with bios problems it may be that the cmos battery needs to be replaced.
Three things to check,... adapter power settings... uncheck 'Allow computer to turn off this device to save power', turn off hybrid sleep in power profile, turn off usb selective suspend in advanced power settings...
