I wouldn't think so. If you can remember one thing that would help is if you were using the Vista driver previously, or managed to find something newer. In most cases the Vista driver should work just fine, but not too sure about TV tuners.
A couple of quick questions,
1. Did you uninstall the Cat 10.10 before installing the Vista driver? if not that could be the problem. I would start with uninstalling everything, then install the tuner driver and see how things work. If it works OK, then update the video driver using the 10.10 and test again.
2. If you did uninstall first, I don't usually recommend it but for something like this seeing as there isn't an actual Windows 7 driver available, check Windows Update after installing the Vista driver and see if it offers something newer.
For the answers,
1. Yes I did install10.10 first, then the Vista AIW driver from Diamond.
Then I uninstalled the whole mess and installed just Diamond package with driver 8.570. The tuner is recognized, but the Media Player hangs when setting up tv stations. I uninstalled again, then installed another Diamond download with the same results. I uninstalled again and installed from the CD which came with my AIW board(V 8.503). Tuner is not recognized at all! AND now I can't uninstall ATI components at all. When I try to run the installer, it doesn't make a list of files to be removed, just hangs up. I did also use the Device Manager/Video Card/properties/driver route to download a driver which is version 8.762. The tuner is not recognized! I'm about ready to toss the whole machine out the window(not really) but this is really puzzling. BTW, the driver version which was working before my system crashed was V 8.690.
