Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7

W864a Driver version from 01/17/2013 is atihdw83.sys and the reloaded driver W864a Driver version from 01/21/2013 is atihdw86.sys.

Amd says it shouldn't be an issue for Windows 7.

So far this driver is Great my Performance has boosted from 197 FPS on max settings extreme and i came out with a 6 FPS gain running me up to 203fps max at 1920/1080

So to me im good and Beta drivers no Thank i'll leave that to the guys who have time to fix problem mattic issue with a none WHQL driver

I see an HD Audio controller warning in Device Manager. Should I download 13.1 again and reinstall?

Looks AMD reloaded the v13.1 drivers on their site because they swapped x64 HD Audio driver from x32 and vice versa...but only x64bits have been corrected at this time of the day. This is mainly for Windows 8

13.1 seems a bit buggy. 12.11b has been trouble free for me. I just downloaded 13.2 beta...

I reinstalled 13.1 (fresh doenload from AMD) but I'm still getting the warning for the missing HD Audio driver in Device Manager! Why? Any solutions?

Hello Juan,

Looking at your motherboard's specs, it may be the Realtek HD audio driver it's wanting.

Looking at your motherboard's specs, it may be the Realtek HD audio driver it's wanting.

I installed the last version of Realtek HD drivers a few days ago when I did a fresh UEFI install.

For some reason the AMD drivers failed to update on first reboot, but I just rebooted again and they got updated. No more warning in Device Manager.

I got that too ussually that means either you TV screen flat panel sound wasnt configured correctly i had this because i use two screens once in a while

i didnt configure the bigger screen with switching then after left yellow caution

you can delete it and restart the pc and go away if not then update your audio driver files

On my system I show 2 HD Audio Controllers in Device Manager.

ID 1002 - is my Radeon HD 6880
ID 10EC - is my Realtek Audio Chip.

So you need to look at the hardware ID to see what device was showing bad.

If I understood correctly on AMD's site, you do have to install the latest CAP but cannot select in the Catalyst Control Center. That option was removed. You can only add a created profile.

CAP's that come out after a driver release usually contain profile updates/fixes that didn't make it into the driver.

Both WEI graphics scores dropped to 7.8 from 7.9 with new AMD drivers, 13.2 Beta3. Has anyone else seen this?
Will run some benchmarks using them. If no significant¡cant improvements I'll roll back to 13.1 and wait for maturer betas.
