Does this "Work" okay in Windows 7? I assume most file locations etc aren't that different anyway. It's one of my "comfort installs" (things i always install first; my essential apps) however i held off installing it in Windows 7 incase (particularly registry wise) i do some damage

Hello d0od,

Yes, CCleaner works without any problems in Windows 7. It is always recommended that you review the results found in any registry cleaner to make sure that they are safe to delete, but I have never had CCleaner find anything that wasn't safe yet though.

I think ccleaner nerfed my installation so had to reinstall win7 last night. So Im going to hold off recommending it until win7 is fully released and ccleaner states it supports win7.

Nor me and I have used it all including the Reg cleaner which found over 400 entries to delete, although it wouldn't delete all of them for some reason, most of those having something to do with DirectX, what actually happened to your OS swarfega?
