Have looked through the thread and can't see what I would like to know is this a Piriform app or a third party add on?

Want to know as I have heaps of problems in the past with third party stuff, and am very wary of such.

CCenhancer is a third party app, not made by Piriform. But it's worked fine for many users, including me.

CCleaner is a Piriform made program though. Just stating that as you didn't specify what app in your question. I assume you meant CCenhancer though.

Loads of Reg problems

Have run CC this am and have a long list of refs to Microsoft Silverlight (in Snip) and being not savvy at all with this sort of stuff don't know wat to do with them.

Are they a problem as they are listed as??

No, you don't have to worry about them, as they're from the last silverlight version installed on your computer. since you've installed a newer version, the old entries can be safely deleted. (do a backup just in case) but i've never had a problem removing those old entries

Look at the version: 4.0.51204.0 and you most likely insalled 4.0.60129.0 a few days ago with the update showed on Windows Update.

Bottom line, safe to remove

ccleaner cleans bad cookies

I notice that...
I scan with Superantispyware and found 10 tracking cookies,i didn't <<clean>> them.Instead i started ccleaner and clean/fix.
Again i scan with Superantispyware and the pc was clean!

With the standard disk cleanup or delete cookies from C:\Users\x\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies tracking cookies are still there.
But with ccleaner are gone.

Looks like there is no more slim build of CCleaner on the builds page, just the full installer with google chrome option or portable version ( no google chrome ).

Might just be temporarily off of the page since they just updated the program today. Sometimes they take a bit to post the slim version there after an update for some reason.
