I've just seen this info about a new chrome update. I went into 'about' under settings and it began to download the latest update.

Is there a way to set Chrome so it will automatically update as I would not have known there was a new version available as there was nothing alerting me?

Chrome should auto update by default, but this may help to let you know when there's an update available if it doesn't.

Hi there Brink,

I've seen that info before about the menu showing colours to advise of updates, However the Chrome menu on my computer stays the same colour (i.e black and white). My AV vulnerability scanner identified a Chrome update but I ignored it because I thought Chrome was up to date (because it wasn't showing any change in colour in the menu).

Do I need to change settings somewhere to get the menu to change colour if an update needs installing?
