Latest Logitech SetPoint Software

For me the update came through the "web updates" feature in Setpoint. I'm running Windows 7 x64. Don't know if the update is at all platform specific.

An update for Setpoint came through recently. Latest is:

6.15.6 control center

5.10.9 driver

Unfortunately it doesn't fix any of my problems.

Ah, you're right. That's what it says in the setpoint control panel. Same version as the July one. Displays different version numbers in the setpoint control panel than it does on the website.

SetPoint updated to 6.20.

I went ahead and updated, but unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem. I have the MK320 keyboard/mouse combo and none of the Setpoint notification features work. Setpoint is supposed to produce a sound to signal key status changes such as Caps Lock, volume changes and low battery, but I get nothing.

When you say it "works perfect" can you be more specific? I'm also using Windows 7 x64 and on my system it basically does nothing. Are you getting key change and volume change notifications? Low batter warning?

Airbot is right it has to run on start up on wireless.

It worked right with the old software and it still does.

Yes it shows all you listed.

Sounds I have no idea. Missed that on first read.

Yes, I have it auto-starting and the icon displays in the tray.

Yes, I have checked that box. I've also looked in the "Sounds" section of the control panel, but there are no entries there indicating that sounds have been assigned to keyboard events. Do you know where those settings are actually stored? Perhaps the GUI is not updating the settings in registry (or wherever).

1. Close all open applications and documents.
2. Choose your operating system and click the Download button to begin.
3. When the security dialog appears, choose to either Run or Save the installation file.

IMPORTANT:
If you choose to save the file, you’ll need to reconnect to the internet to run the SetPoint software setup at a later time.
Installation notes

• SetPoint settings will not be preserved when upgrading from SetPoint 4.x.
• If you don't see a picture of the device you’re configuring in this latest version of SetPoint, check that you are connected to the internet. The device image should download automatically in the background.
• If your mouse or keyboard is connected to the PS/2 port and you want it to be recognized by SetPoint, you’ll need to activate the PS/2 driver. To do this:
  1. Open SetPoint and select the Tools tab.
  2. Click the "Install PS/2 Driver" button (if the button is unavailable, a PS/2 driver is already installed).

When I downloaded the new Setpoint 6.22.24 installation file, I had to rename it to add the EXE file extension for it to work.

Did anyone else have to do this?

I didn't have to do that. Downloaded in FF.

But the drivers aren't updated from what they were months ago when 6.20 was released. This only seems to be a little update to the Setpoint installation software, not drivers. Pretty useless.

Yeah, I was just noticing that the driver version in Device Manager & in Setpoint Settings didn't change.

Same here. From looking at the various drive files and exe's, the driver files are all still from the 6.20 but the two main exe's (setpoint and khalmnpr) and a few DLL's have been updated.
