UPDATE 3/31:

To align with the Chromium schedule, we plan on skipping build 82 to focus on the quality for the release of Microsoft Edge 81 to our Stable channel in the coming weeks. Our Dev and Canary channels are now on build 83.

It doesn't appear group policies are affecting the new Chromium based Microsoft Edge yet.

Hi, Hi, i do not undersand.
there were instructions of how to enable java saript in windows 10.
there was also mention of , open with internet explorer and then change the java settings in iE.
i do not find any menu of open with internet explorer in the new edge
i went to users admn templates in gpedit and tried to look for microsoft edge in window components in my windows 7. But there was none like microsoft EDge present to change java settings .
i have found that java is by default enabled in edge browser in the new settings of edge browser.
but, somehow, i want to enable the java script in group policy to be fully sure of getting scripts working.

The new Chromium based Microsoft Edge wouldn't be affected by a setting in IE.

Since IE is no longer supported, I doubt there will be an "Open with Internet Explorer" context menu included in the new Microsoft Edge.

I don't see a setting for that yet in the Chromium based Microsoft Edge.
