the cards can easily handle 100c.. I had a GTX 280 that within seconds of Crysis it would go to 109c.. but it played smooth as can be and not a single stutter, but the fan was tryin so hard to work and cool that it would start making a pulsating sound.. I went down to a 260 and was all good.
I'm about to install RTM, and not sure what drivers I should install. I'm thinking I'll just do the latest WHQL drivers to be safe
It can handle 100c but it doesnt mean you have to run it at 100c, take for example the PWM that Asus uses on their motherboards, sure i t can handle 105c 24/7 but only at 200+ days, at 65c it lasts for 57 years.
