I am doing a clean install of my Graphics Machine. GA-Z120X Ultra Gaming. I have windows 7 64 pro and I use Blender. I have it understood that the "353.06-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql"
is the driver to use. Last time I set it up I had to do something that prevented it from automatically updating.
I changed some settings so it would not update but can not for remember what I did to prevent this.

I did turn off the setting that tells windows not to update drivers. But it seams there was some other trick to this.
It seamed to me that Nvidia was the culprit to it wanted to update the drivers and when it did my setup was unusable.

I read that if I un-install Geforce Experience then it will no longer update my drivers. I did click on the program and it did try to search for new drivers and I pulled the Ethernet plug. So maybe this is it.
