Latest NVIDIA ForceWare Video Drivers Windows 7

I've been using 162.18 ever since I installed win7 because all the newest drivers **** up some games resolution, for instance the game wont go fullscreen..

No I havent tried installing in safemode .. i will get right on that !

Ya I was wondering why everytime I ran Crysis Warhead, it would resort back to windowed mode and I'd have to go in settings and switch back to fullscreen before starting gameplay. I am on 190.62.

Also, I did not know you should install in safe mode. Is this a must?

its not a ''must'', & you by no means have to use ''safe mode'', but it makes any app installation easier b/c it greatly lowers the chance for software conflict..

''safe mode'' only loads the bare essentials for the desktop.

Ya thats what I figured. My Vid drivers were installed immediately after a fresh install so I think I am fine in that department. I am contemplating making a switch though to ATI for that 5870. Just waiting to see how the drivers pan out for it.

I just installed the latest 191 and so far all is fine. It's still got the 59 Hz Refresh Rate problem.. when are they going to fix that?

Doesnt work to uninstall and reinstall latest driver in safemode .. Still get the same problem, that the driver was not installed and I shold try again later.

tried installing 190.62 and the same problem came up (see the screenshot on the previous page)

I'm going to try these out with my 9800GTX+ OC. I'll report back with my findings.

Installed and I got the same error message I get when installing 191.07 (See the previous page).

NVidia Beta Forceware 195.39 available from Nvidias site.

These were pulled, then re released, so there may be some differences between the ones available earlier.

This is a beta driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

195.39 installed and running fine. Temp at idle seems to have gone up by one degree and the clocks are no longer jumping around as with previous 190.... drivers.
Haven't tried em in games yet. I'll report back when I have.

Hm, I'm still only seeing 191.07 on the NVIDIA web site. Did the 195.39 get pulled?

Edit: Got 'em. They fixed the driver/widescreen problems. I lot of people are gonna be real happy, real soon once they get these.

Hmmn. Something knocked out my ethernet connection last night so I started in Safe Mode this morning and had to do a System Restore to just before installing these drivers.
I'm hoping it wasn't them as they seemed good so I'd like to put them back on.

Anyone else having problems?

hi!
i have install windows 7
i have graphic drive nvidia Quadro FX 3400/4400,
and monitor HP LP2065.
My computer open only in save mode,
today i download driver from nvidia: 191.00_Quadro_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql.exe

but not working, not open my computer

or open , working 10 minuts and monitor turns off and computer blocked...

who is problem ???

@kledi - I'm having big issues with Win 7 64bit and a Quadro FX 3400. I wasn't sure what it was causing my issues originally but I'm now sure its the Quadro causing them.
I've gone from default drivers -> 191 and now 953.9, all having stalls and issues. When I switch to Windows 7 Basic (No Aero) its ok, with no stalls. Only ok though, and the Windows Experience Index rates the graphics @ 5.5 but gaming performance @ 2.0.
For now 953.9 seem to have the least issues but I still think its a dog. Lets hope theres another update soon.
