League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth?

Im looking into a dota game but im not sure which one to choose would it be lol or hon, im looking for something that is really competitive and requires skill which one supports my criteria and what are the strengths and cons of both?

which ever floats your boat they are like the same thing imo i say just get both and play them both then stick with the one you liked the most.

As posted before both the same sort of beast. I play more LoL as it was the first i played but HoN is apparently just as good! However, BEWARE, players are very unforgiving in both and it can be a steep learning curve, but just ignore and play the games as they are both brilliant.

LoL is really good, never played HoN before though.
