lending internet to a friend and homegroups

hello! A friend is asking me to lend her an internet
connection Cause hers wont work 2days. Id like to
know if i tell her my wifi password will she be
able to have access to my homegroup data too?
Or she needs my pass there too? (i know
homegroups got them) so i dont want her to access my data, so is there 100% if i give her my
wifi pass that she wont also get access to my
data? I need a quick answer please

also how much will that effect my net speed? H already got brother surfing on other pc with same net. And she wants to play some rpg games online

One option that you may have available, depending on your hardware, is the use of a Virtual second wireless SSID, some modern routers will allow you to set-up more than one SSID, which have completely different subnets, and use different wireless passwords, and are therefore isolated from each other, I use this to allow visitors to share my internet, I also have the facility to limit the bandwidth available to each SSID. I use this to limit the visitor network to 10Mb/s so I will always have control over the system.

Check the manual for your router to see if you have this option
