I have just installed Win7 64bit and nothing else. Not connected to the internet yet. The machine acts as it should when I click Shutdown however, once the fans stop spinning it restarts on its own.
I went online from another computer and updated all drivers... no fix though.
I could not see an update for the BIOS from 9/29/2008. Is there one available? If anyone can find a URL I would try that.
Is there a setting in the BIOS that should be changed to prevent this from happening? I couldn't find it although, I changed any settings that suggested restart on failure or error.
Further, the Machine Type and Model as well as the Serial Number are shown as INVALID in the BIOS. I know that there is a utility to change this but don't know where I would find that.
