Hi I have a big problem with my lenovo T500. I installed Windows 7 RC x64 to my lenovo T500 (2082-53G) and when I install the ATI catalyst beta driver x64 v9.6 from ATI's homepage, my computer freezes at startup (some activity on HD but I can't move my mouse and many processes faile to start at boot). Problem occurs only when win7 beta driver for system interface or ricoh multicard reader is installed because it worked ok until I installed those drivers. I'm not the only one facing this problem: Lenovo T500 Thinkpad - WDM Radeon 3650 Driver Update Causes Screen to Freeze

Please help me and thanks in advance!

Yeah ATI seems to have nothing but problems with their drivers for windows 7. I am not sure why. Nvidia seems to be right on track, only optimizing, while ATI is still trying to sort out compatibility.

Sorry I couldn't help any more.

If they can manufacture those multimillion transistor GPUs, shouldn't be too hard to make a decent driver :) Np and thanks for your help. Maybe that 9.7 driver will fix that problem. Maybe I will try that RC3 which is floating in net....

ATI catalyst v9.7 windows 7 x64 drivers working!

I'm using those drivers now. I modded them with ati mobility modder so they can be used with mobile cards and they work ok for now (haven't tested a lot so we will see).
