I am wondering what disk management shows the size of the ssd
Seems doing the provisioning you'd only see about 850gb available instead of 950gb +- ?

I would knock the free space in half at least but that's just me seeing you have D & E as other disks I guess you left those off the disk management window

It doesn't matter really using the utility is the easy route and you can always undo items on the Advanced section later.

Yes. D and E are presently empty. They are 2TB HDD's.

Might be better to install games on one of them than filling up your ssd :/

Yes. I'll be doing a clean reinstall.
D will be used for games, game save files and files that other programs (Blender, etc.) create.
E will be used for backups of certain files.

Should I still partition the SSD (500GB/500GB) if I move stuff to the D drive?

Absolutely
All you really need is just the C drive on it leave the rest Unallocated
Read and write score might get better the smaller it is and so will the provisioning space needed

Realistically you could get a 250gb ssd just for the os and programs probably and save the 1tb ssd for all of your games and or programs.

I had a 512 GB SSD in this computer when I first built it. That was moved into my Dell laptop and the 1TB SSD installed (the 1TB SSD was on sale so I bought it). Both are the Samsung 850 Pro.

My computer wasn't going to sleep after messing with Samsung Magician. This is what my power settings look like. How does this improve the performance of the SSD?

You can open Magician and go to the advanced section to see all of the options there

Alternatively you can go to the link on the image Change plan settings and adjust the new Samsung power plan.
Sleep or better named Hybrid sleep and also hibernation is disabled
With the amount of ram 64bg you have the hybrid file alone is massive and ssd's don't need it.

I've never used hibernation or hybrid sleep anyway I simply set a screen saver slide show and let it run it is basic sleep.
