LG Notebook Built In webcam Not Detected

My cousin used an external Webcam on my LG laptop and now its not detecting the built-in webcam. it says "no webcam detected" when I open youcam and Skype. I tried disabling and enabling it again but its not working. I would be very greatful if someone can help me with this problem because I often use Skype for job conferences. thank you!

i would remove the external webcam from the device manager if it shows up there then try re enabling the onboard one and see what happens. If that does nothing; i would uninstall the onboard one completely; reboot; then let windows hopefully redetect the built in webcam. Try that and see what happens.
