Libraries Icon STUCK on start menu

No matter what I do I can not get this thing removed, I have looked through a good bit of the tuts on this forum with no luck with any of them. When I right click I get an option to "remove from this list" but when I click it the icon remains as if I didnt click anything... anyone have any clues?

It's pinned, I have it set to not show recent documents.

Ok. You might see if resetting the Start Menu Pin To area may be able to help then.

Ok. Check in the hidden system folder location below to see if it is still in there. If so, delete it. If it will not delete, then try dragging and dropping it in the Recycle Bin.

It is actually not listed in there for some strange reason... Everything else I have on there is though.

Umm. If you have not already, restart the computer to see if it may just be a ghost since it's not located above.

I have restarted a bunch since I have noticed this. It's very strange.

This is a stubborn one.

Well, you can create a new administrator account to use instead, and delete the old one from within the new one after copying your user folder files into the new account. Another option is a repair install.

hmmm... I really didn't want to do that.. there is really nothing else to try?

Those are the only two options that I know of left that we didn't try where you will not lose everything doing them.
