Linksys router problems

Sometimes you have to have your ISP send an electronic reset to your Cable Modem & router. This has worked a few times for me. Hope this helps.

One thing that has not been tried is to manually set your DNS servers, either in the computers IPv4 setup or in the router.

May be worth a try the following are a primary and secondary from OpenDNS | Internet Navigation And Security

The router has gone out again. I called Charter to help with a reset on the cable modem. They tell me it's my fault because I don't have their router and can't be bothered to help me out. Once again I need help to get this wireless router functioning again. It says it has a bad IP Address when it is hooked up. I have tried to do an ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew but it doesn't seem to work. Is there anyway I can get this thing working and anyway to keep working for longer than 2 months?
