Hi snit3,I was able to get Win 7, 64 bit Media Center to work with the AverMedia "Combo" tuner. (white box version-OEM) The card uses a PCI-e slot. I'm using it with an analog input signal.
I use the TV card for purposes of editing content, so I was disappointed to discover Media Center only produced wtv files, which are not very useful outside the MC environment. (I'll try the included editing suite later) I already had Corel VideoStudio for video editing, but it doesn't recognize the AverMedia card. Finally found CyberLink PowerDirector which DOES recognize the Avermedia card AND can produce avi, mpeg, etc files.
So, finally, I'm back to where I was with XP! (thankfully)
I'm unfamiliar with that oem combo card model, so unfortunately I can't add info on it to this list... Can you provide a link to it?
