Solved Little question about "Windows 7 Boot Screen Updater"

First, sorry if I post in wrong section (but I hope I'm posting this in the right section)

Umm, here is my question. I have search the internet about how to make custom Windows 7 Boot Screen. But I still confused with how to make the animation. Then I found some webpage (youtube including) on how to make the animation. He (or she, but I know he is male ) says, that I can make the animation with Adobe After Effects with resolution 200px X 200px (or something ...). Now, my question: "Can I make the resolution other than 200px X 200px?"

To work as the boot screen animation it has to be 200x200px.

If I were to use the updater to change my boot screen. Then Use sysprep to create my own disk, copy the appropriate files if I were to install Windows 7 Ultimate would the boot screen go back to default or would it be the customized one? John

I have not tested that but thinking logically it should work. When you run Sysprep it only uses two possible sets of instructions to find out what the user might want to change:

• Generalize switch (optional) instructs Sysprep to remove all hardware related information and content
• Answer file (optional) contains instructions for Windows setup and customizations

Sysprep alone does almost nothing, the above options can be used both alone or together, both of them do nothing for Windows core files. As the start animation belongs to those core files and routines, it should be left as it is.

But again, the above is just me trying to think this logically, very subjective, not an objective truth...
