Has anyone ever seen this problem. I always log in and out using the local area connection. When i start up the pc and go into windows. If i click the local area connection it will bring up the status dialog and the connection is enabled when it isn't. I then have to close it and click on it again and the local area connection will connect.

The same also applies if you right click on the icon it will say it is enabled when it isn't. If you right click again it will say it is disabled. Does anyone know of a fix for this so i can get it started the first time and not the second time.

I suggest that you click on this link- SUPPORTrix - Full Spectrum Support for Home Networking, Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Software and more.
But you have to register first, so that you can access all the information that you need. =))

All the best,

you are using LAN isn't? regardless. Go to run, type service.msc. go to wired autoconfig>properties> and set it to automatic

feel free to ask:)

No,i didnt meant your post wokka, i mean the 2nd post which already deleted because it's spam contain. anyways back to your issue.

we need to set from the start ,so first, try ipconfig /release all Oripconfig /release *con*
Where *con* matches the connection to be released.
and then ..

  1. Check Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. The DHCP Client service should be Started and its Startup Type should be Automatic.
  2. Turn off ALL of the computers and other network connected devices, restart (power cycle) the router, then restart all the computers and other network devices.
  3. Check for upgraded drivers and/or reload the Network drivers.
  4. Replace the Network Interface Card.
feel free to ask:)
