Solved Locked out of only account (W7hpx64)

Hey guys. Well. I managed to lock myself out of the only account on my computer (I had to change the password, and them promptly forgot it). The hidden admin account isn't enabled and i DO NOT have a Windows 7 CD, nor do I have easy access to one. I am simply wondering if there is a way for me to access either my account or (by somehow enabling it) the hidden admin one.

NB: I have also tried several methods of reaching a command prompt window, including starting in safe mode and the like, and I need user-authentication each time =/

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps =)

You might see if one of the options in the tutorial below may allow you to be able to reset or change your password for this account.

Well, booting to Win RE would certainly work, but you need a password authentication to get in =(

I have my account, which I don't know the password to, and

"UpdatausUser" and HomeGroupUser$" as my options... If I could get past this step I can do it all through cmd, but I can't.. any ideas?

I've tried the USB boot. I got up to running the syslinux.exe, that worked fine. Not sure what to do next? I plugged the USB into my PC (with those files on it etc) and nothing happened, it wouldn't get past the loading screen. Any tips?

EDIT: I also downloaded he .iso from the CD download, but he Windows 7 USB/DVD Burner kept saying the .iso was invalid D:

Was the ISO download interrupted and may just need to download a new copy? If not, then you might also give the program ISO Recorder or ImgBurn a try to see if one may be able to burn the ISO to a CD/DVD.

ok, I managed to get the CD to work (thanks for that =D). In step 2, where you need to enter the path to the registry, what is it? I have tried system32/config but that doesn't seem to work. You wouldn't happen to know the other common places would you? (My PC came pre-loaded with windows home premium, 64 bit)
