Locked out of Computer - Cannot boot from disk

Situation is that a company in our office suite replaced all of their computers. Gave me a Dell Optiplex 780 desktop with Windows 7. Could not do anything without first being plugged into their domain. While plugged in, I tried to make a new User Account but could not, though I was given the Administrator Password. So I did something massively stupid and deleted the domain.

I got the warning 'do not delete the domain unless you have the administrator password' which I thought that I had.

After restart, I am totally locked out of the computer. Two users come up (not the administrator user I have), and the password doesn't work on either. I have rebooted in safe mode 20 times trying to do command prompts, boot from a USB flash drive, etc.

I cannot even change the boot sequence--it is locked (grayed out). Everything is locked unless I can enter a password for one of the Users--and nobody knows who they are or their passwords. I do not even know which version of Windows 7 this is, but the computer was on a network.

I do not have a Windows 7 operating disk because my home computer did not come with one--Acer laptop and I did not make a recovery disk. I have read about all kinds of fixes online and have seen links for downloading password evader programs. I am wary of opening and running any of these on my laptop to burn to a flash drive, that may not work. I don't want to screw up my good computer with malware. I can buy a refurbished computer exactly like this online for $100, so it isn't worth putting any money into it.

Is there anything at all I can do to use this computer? I don't really want to buy a Windows 7 disk if I am not going to be able to boot from it. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.
Can you enter into BIOS configuration or it is protected by password?
If you can, OEM computers has a BIOS option to do a Factory Recover that will format your C: drive (you'll loose all data on it) and then reinstall Win 7 from an image stored on a recover partition. You will end with a computer as it came from Dell.

Is it possible to get assistance from the company to fix your problem. They gave you the computer so I assume you still work there & the IT section should be able to help you.
