I set up a new Windows 7 professional system and now, for some reason, the system will only let me log into using a local user. I cannot access the domain user account. I can see all the workstations/servers but unable to change from local to domain user.

Has the computer been joined to the domain? This can only be done by a member of the domain administrators group.

I was not aware that somehow someone had put this on a home group. After evaluating the system I found this out and then changed to the domain and now I am able to log into the system.
