When I customized my pc I used programs such as "Windows 7 Start Orb Changer" and programs that would overwrite the icons somewhere in Windows, and my back and forward buttons, etc.

I want to convert all of this into a theme, as the main reason I want to do this is because when I change themes on Windows 7 certain icons and the start orb stay the way I have changed them to.

I have all of my resources backed up in folders. I have searched the web and haven't had any success finding a program that can allow me to create my own Windows 7 theme. I also would like to add sounds and other things to the custom theme that I make.

I would also like to change the colors of certain parts of the theme that I'm currently using and save it as this new theme that I hope to make. I hope I explained this well enough.

Hey, have you tried: Ave's Windows7 Style Builder I am not sure if that's in the scope of changes you want to make, however should be a good baseline. I am no software developer but if it is outside of the scope maybe you could use a resource hacker to make it work for you. Or as an alternative to a theme you could develop an executable to make all the changes you desire.

Cheers
