Experiencing tedious logging on process as follows:

1. Switch on laptop.

2. Type Password.
3. Next screen - freeze - i try alt + cntrol +delete - nothing happens.

4. Switch off - manual press.
5. Switch on - manual press

6. Choose safe mode.
7. Desktop appears.
8. Press restart.
9. Type password.
10. Desktop appears - ok to use.

I want to remove steps 1-4. How do I achieve that?

Yes this is what happens from shutdown. I mean, after shutting down, I enter steps 6-10. But last night, when I was in step 6-7, on screen was chkdsk procedures scanning about 643,000 records. Then it went back to desktop. So, I go to steps 9-10. But, it hang again. I keep doing it 2 times. When I couldn't get the results, I switched off and slept. This morning, same problem. But at a certain point, the safe mode with networking worked. So, I am able to send this message now.

About your suggested step -- "on step #6 and 7, open an elevated Command Prompt then type this Command : SFC /SCANNOW or you can read this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...ker.html?ltr=S 16 Hours Ago 15:54" --- when I am in step 6, what should I press to open an elevated command prompt? Please teach me step by step.

thank you.

I tried sfc /scannow. After the scanning, the message is:

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

If you have installed windows update before this issue occurred, you can do a system restore from the date that your laptop is working fine.

Have tried scanning your machine for any malicious programs?
Malwarebytes plus your Antivirus but run them in separate time.
